The Association of Hospitality and Tourism Educators and ConsultantsAfrica (AHTEC-Africa) is a continental professional body comprising educators, researchers, trainers, and consultants in the hospitality and tourism sectors across Africa.

We recognize the urgent need to strengthen academic excellence, industry relevance, research innovation, and professional collaboration within our fields. Guided by the aspirations of the African Unions Agenda 2063towards a united, prosperous, and integrated Africawe are committed to advancing hospitality and tourism education and consultancy as strategic drivers of sustainable development.

Through collective expertise, shared knowledge, and strategic partnerships, AHTEC-Africa serves as a platform for capacity building, policy engagement, research development, and continental cooperation.
